A short guide to using Keekaw — what it can answer, how to ask good questions, and how to get in touch when something looks wrong.
What Keekaw does
Keekaw is a gaming companion that answers four kinds of questions for you, in plain English:
Boss fight help
“How do I beat Malenia?”
Quest progression
“What do I do next in Ranni's questline?”
Build correction
“What does the Lothric Knight Sword scale with?”
Item location
“Where do I find the Adamantine Forge?”
Keekaw is not a generic chatbot. Ask it about the supported games and it will answer from curated data with citations. Ask it something it doesn't have data for, it should tell you so — not make up an answer. When that contract breaks, please report it (see the bottom of this guide).
Games supported
Live in the game selector today:
Elden Ring — all four intents, our deepest coverage and the strongest patch-currency warnings.
Dark Souls III — strong on boss weaknesses, weapon scaling, item locations. Light on quest steps.
Bloodborne — strong boss-fight + item-location. Some lore narratives surface.
Baldur's Gate 3 — strong on quest narratives + item locations. Some subclass mechanics are thin.
Hollow Knight — strong on boss patterns + locations. Note: HK uses pattern-mastery, not damage types — don't expect “weak to fire” answers.
ARC Raiders — newest game, lighter coverage. Best on quest narrative + Spotter / Bombardier mechanics.
Coming soon (visible in the UI but not yet queryable): Skyrim, Sekiro, Monster Hunter Wilds, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield.
How to use Keekaw
Sign in at keekaw.com. New accounts start on the Free tier; you can upgrade any time from the Pricing page.
Pick a game from the game selector in the chat sidebar.
Type a question. Keekaw works best with specific entity names (“Malenia”, “Lothric Knight Sword”) and intent verbs (“how do I beat”, “what does X scale with”, “where do I find”, “tell me the story of”).
Read the answer. Citations like [Source 1, 2] or 📚 5 Sources show how many references back the answer. Click the 👍 / 👎 below an answer to tell us whether it helped.
Asking good questions
Patterns that work well today:
Specific entity + structured intent: “What is Pontiff Sulyvahn weak to?”
Strategy questions: “How do I beat the Cleric Beast?”
Quest narrative: “What's the story behind the Dormant Barons quest?”
Item lore: “Tell me about the Avian Alarm.”
Build questions: “What does the Lothric Knight Greatsword scale with?”
Trust signals — what to look for in answers
Post-patch outdated warnings
Phrases like “this information may be post-patch outdated” or “double-check in-game.” Keekaw detected the underlying data may have been changed by a recent game patch. Take the answer as a starting point and verify in-game.
Honest hedges
When Keekaw doesn't have a confident answer it will say so — phrases like “I don't have that information” or “no data available.” That's the system declining to guess. Better than a fabricated answer.
Inline citations
Markers like [Source 1], [Source 1, 2], or 📚 5 Sources show how many distinct references back the sentence. Higher counts mean broader corroboration.
Tier limits + payments
Three tiers: Free (limited daily queries), Pro (monthly query budget), and Ultimate (effectively unlimited). For current limits and pricing in your region, see the Pricing page — it reflects live numbers (and INR / USD geo-routing) so this guide doesn't drift when prices change.
Payment is through Razorpay (India) or Stripe (international), geo-detected at checkout.
How to give feedback
Your feedback is what makes the next version better than this one. Two ways to get it to us:
1. 👍 / 👎 buttons on every answer (5 seconds)
Below every Keekaw answer, two thumb buttons. Click 👎 if the answer was wrong, missing key information, or felt like a fabrication. Click 👍 if it was specifically helpful — we use both signals to improve answer quality.
You don't need to write anything. The button alone is enough; we look at the patterns.
2. Email — support@keekaw.com (5 minutes)
Use email when the issue needs more context than a thumb-vote:
Wrong fact: Keekaw said X about a boss; your in-game experience or trusted reference says Y.
“No response received” or other UI errors: include the game, the query, and the approximate time-of-day.
Payment / subscription problems: invoice not received, wrong tier shown after purchase.
Feature requests: “I want to ask about armour set bonuses” — useful signal even when not actionable short-term.
What helps us most in a bug report:
Game (Elden Ring, Hollow Knight, etc.)
Your exact query (copy-paste it; don't paraphrase)
Keekaw's exact answer (or a screenshot)
What you expected in one sentence
Approximate time (helps us find the request in logs)
Don't worry about technical detail — “Keekaw said Malenia is weak to ice and that's wrong, the right answer is Bleed, Fire, Frost” is a perfect bug report.
What happens after you report
👍 / 👎 votes: feed the work we do to improve answer quality. We don't reply individually.
Email: we read every report and try to reply for actionable issues, especially anything blocking your usage.
Your data
How we collect and use your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Known limitations
We'd rather tell you up front than have you discover them mid-fight:
Boss weakness coverage is partial for some bosses. Where multiple weaknesses exist, the answer sometimes lists only one. Technically correct but incomplete. Trust 👍 / 👎 to flag these.
Acquisition questions for a few items are thin (Hollow Knight Monarch Wings is the well-known example, plus a handful of Baldur's Gate 3 subclasses). Keekaw will hedge rather than guess — please flag the ones you hit.
Answer quality is good but not yet optimal — if answers feel like they favour lore over facts, or vice versa, more than feels right, please flag it.
Patch-currency warnings are strongest for Elden Ring. Other games will follow as we keep them current with official patch notes.
